On Livingstone Island  you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or high tea while you view the Victoria Falls before it cascades down the Batoka Gorge.
When the water levels are low enough it is possible to swim at the edge of the Falls in a natural rock pool known as the ‘Devil’s Armchair’ or ‘DEVIL’S POOL’. In higher waters, swimming takes place in the ‘Angel’s Pool’. Livingstone Island closes annually when water levels are too high.
Generally, the Devil’s Pool is accessible from late August to late December depending on rains.
